MUA Nail Polish - Pistachio Ice Cream

Hi Guys! I went into Superdrug the other week and thought that ESSIE had brought out mini polishes, I then realised that they were MUA's new polishes! The packaging is SO similar to ESSIE's its uncanny!

MUA's polishes are £1.00 and they have a variety of pretty colours. When I saw Pistachio Ice cream I had to have it, I think this polish is very similar to the famous ESSIE Mint Candy Apple, which I have wanted for ages but it always seems to be out of stock when I go into BOOTS.

I was expecting this polish to be streaky so was expecting to have to do 2-3 layers but as you can see from this photo below which is just one coat and I think it looks fine!

Overall I am so impressed with this polish and I have looked online and there are a couple more colours i'd like to try so I think my next purchase will be Amaretto Crush which is a pretty coral colour!

Have you tried any of the MUA polishes? What do you think of them?

Natural Collection Liquid Eyeliner

Hi Guys! Today I thought I would review this eyeliner. I picked this up a couple of months ago after my sister said she uses it and she really likes it. It is the Natural Collection Liquid Eye Lines, as with the rest of the Natural Collection products this was a complete bargain at £1.99 for 8ml! My sister and I used to use the Dior Style Liner but at £22.50 for 2.5ml I think that it is a bit of a rip-off! I find that the brush on the Natural collection eyeliner is very similar to the one on the Dior liner.

The reviews that I have read on this eyeliner aren't great, I haven't read one good review, which is why after trying this out for myself I was pleasantly surprised!
I found that the eyeliner was really easy to apply and I liked the way you could do a thick or thin line with it. It was jet black which I like, I have previously tried liquid liners that have been more grey in colour. It stayed on all day without smudging.

There are only two things that I don't particularly like about this: 1. It doesn't dry immediately so after applying it I have to leave my eyes closed for a few seconds and 2. It is quite tricky to get off at night but then again I would rather that than one that wears off in the day! I don't really like the packaging it isn't very pretty but I think you can look past that when your only paying £1.99 for it.

So overall I am really glad I picked this up and at such a cheap price I would definitely recommend it!

Have you tried this liner? What do you think of it?

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation | Review

Hi Guys! I have read so many good reviews on this foundation so I thought I would give it a go.

So Rimmel say -
"Wake Up & Glow! Rimmel’s first liquid foundation that instantly re-awakens skin with a healthy, radiant glow. Light, moisturising texture applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day. Gives an instant flawless, natural-looking finish, visible anti-fatigue effect with peptides and a Vitamin Moisturising complex"

I have read a lot of bloggers saying that it makes you look like a glitterball which worried me a bit as I hate shimmery foundations. When I tried this on my skin I was pleasantly surprised I didn't notice a shimmer on my skin at all and I looked at it in day light and under my bathroom light and I had no noticeable glitterball effect on my skin.

This is a very natural looking foundation.  I would say it has a medium coverage, it’s very light and creamy in texture and goes onto the skin very smoothly. Rimmel have done very well with the packaging – it’s in a glass bottle (I hate plastic bottles!) which makes it feel more expensive than it is - and it has a pump! Well done Rimmel! When applying this for a medium coverage I used two pumps of foundation and I applied it with my beauty blender. It left me with a dewy (not too dewy) healthy complexion.

I am really impressed with this foundation considering it retails at £8.99 but is often on offer in Boots (I picked this up whilst it was on 3 for 2).

The only downside to this foundation is that there isn't a huge range in colours. There are 6 shades all medium/fair so if you have a very light or very dark skin tone you may struggle to find a match!

Also for anyone who suffers with dry skin like me, this didn't cling to any of my dry patches and actually felt very moisturising.
